The purpose of the Jobs One-Stop is to provide direct and
indirect employment and training services to all eligible
individuals and employers so they can attain and maintain
gainful employment and true self-sufficiency. We do this through
partnerships and resource building throughout the region.
SERVICES FOR JOB SEEKERS
Tools for Job Seekers
The Jobs One-Stop Resource Room offers job seekers computer,
Internet access, job leads and an extensive library for resume
writing, interview skills and career goal setting tips.
Employment specialists can provide intensive services tailored
to those who need individual assistance. If a job seeker’s
skills assessment indicates additional training is needed, short
and long term training options for a variety of occupations will
be explored. The Jobs One-Stop coordinates with numerous local
and regional partner organizations to provide an array of top
quality services.

Employee Recruitment and Job Positions
The Jobs
One-Stop helps businesses reach the largest group of area job
seekers, reducing the time and money spent on recruitment.
Job openings can be electronically posted on the Ohio
SCOTI system and the Chamber of Commerce Job Bank as well as at
the Jobs One-Stop office.
Jobs One-Stop can facilitate targeted recruiting of
individuals with the experience needed for specific job openings
and make conference rooms available for mass recruitments,
application sessions, interviewing and group testing.
Job Retention
Jobs One-Stop
can help reduce costly turnover with job retention services.
Eligible employees may qualify for transportation, uniforms,
child care or other assistance to keep them on the job.
Lay-off and Worker Dislocation Services
Jobs One-Stop
staff collaborates with businesses and other agencies to provide
job search assistance, support services, and retraining funds
available for displaced workers.
Rapid Response
Jobs One-Stop
responds to business closings and layoffs through Rapid
Response. This includes collaborating with other regions to
provide workers with every benefit and service they might be
entitled to.
