Ross County’s Family and Children First Council promotes coordination and collaboration among state and local governments as well as public, private, and non-profit agencies to increase family stability. The goal of the Council is to improve services for families in Ross County and plan for prevention and intervention services. The Council is involved in assuring that services and programs within Ross County operate collaboratively, in order to achieve the highest level of effectiveness, and strive to increase and improve communication between services and the community.
Cluster
Many children have complex problems which require the services of several different agencies. Ross County’s Family and Children First Council created a “Cluster” which addresses the multiple needs of children. The purpose of Cluster is to review specific cases and to develop a community support plan which effectively meets the needs of the child and family. Cluster referrals may be made directly to Kathy Wolfe at Ross County Job and Family Services. |
