The Prevention, Retention and Contingency (PRC) program assists low-income families in keeping family members employed through disruptions in
transportation and child care services, and when occupational training or wage supplementation is necessary.
Employers may request PRC help for employees, in the form of child care information and references, skills training and job mentoring, as well as transportation
assistance.
Families can also apply directly for assistance in any of the above areas.
** Please note due to budgetary restrictions most PRC services are currently suspended.
