When
child safety or well-being becomes a concern, speedy provision
of Children's Protective Service is essential to assure child
safety and to promote child and family well-being. Upon receipt
of any identified concern for the safety and well-being of a
child in Ross County immediate steps to assure safety for the
child are initiated (day or night). Assuring child safety and
well-being always begins with an accurate safety assessment
of the level of risk to each child in the family.
